I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love

“Starts Strong and Ends strong but the middle is quite shit really; I mean there’s a couple songs that are alright but for the most part the points Im giving this album come from the first 2 songs (not counting Romance) and the fact that it contains a top 5 MCR of Demolition Lovers as it’s outro; Overall I believe the main problem with this album is that the songs are too fast and this dickhead Matt Pelissier on the drums snorted 20 lines of cocaine straight off of Gerard Way’s ass crack before recording his parts cause deadass bro chill the fuck out you are like the main reason most of these songs are shit Im so glad you got replaced; Oh also I really like that the first studio song they ever recorded (Skylines and Turnstiles) is on this album and the song is just fully about witnessing 9/11 that is just so funny to me so Ig they get some points for that too. Top 3: Demolition Lovers Vampires Will Never Hurt You Honey, This Mirror Isn’t Big Enough for the Two of Us”

“Very High Highs with only 2-3 skips; Ending is kinda boring and songs can get repetitive, but the best of the best songs on this album makeup for it; Very easy to find a new song to fall in love with; Matt Pelissier is unfortunately back to hit random bullshit on the drums however it sounds like he’s gone yo rehab for his coke addiction and maybe taken a few drum lessons cause they’re a lot better than on the first album. Top 3: The Ghost of You You Know What They Do to Guys Like Us in Prison The Jetset Life is Gonna Kill You”

I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love

“What an opener for one of the greatest discographies of all time (fight me I dare you). Bullets is legitimately one of my favorite albums of all time, and the only reason why it isn’t a ten out of ten is because of This Is The Best Day Ever having to compete with the likes of Demolition Lovers and Honey This Mirror. You can truly feel the passion flowing through every song, and each track has its own unique identity, while still being cohesive in style. This album feels like a bunch of crumpled up notes at the bottom of a backpack, it’s all snippets of stories from different people and places, but it all comes back to this core substance and spark that hooks you until the last notes of Ray’s stellar guitar playing ring out. My personal favorite track off of the album has got to be Early Sunsets Over Monroeville, closely followed by Vampires Will Never Hurt You and Drowning Lessons. This album is absolutely incredible, and I listen to it on repeat. It sounds exactly what autumn feels like, and I truly can’t get enough of it. Side note: I wish that they kept part of this rougher mix across into The Black Parade, because it only adds to the raw emotion that drips out of each lyric.”

Every song is so unbelievably good, and dare I say that Gerard’s screaming peaked here? I would pay real money to listen to this album for the first time again.”
