Heavy is the Head

Sullivan

Holy hell. Sullivan has been around for years but has never sounded so clean and concise yet emotionally conflicted in this album. They say it how it is and they mean it. Bangers.

Illuminate

Lydia

Lydia hit their sweet spot here, their debut album ( this being their second full album ) not having a distinct direction until they released this one. Finally cohesive and yet still explorative. Illuminate really shines a good light on Lydia.

Devil (Deluxe)

Lydia

Since Illuminate, Lydia stepped away from what initially brought their fame. But it’s the 2000s and millennialism is in the air. I didn’t particularly enjoy the coming albums, very electronic and heavily slap-and-stomp sort of sound that was popular for the time. Not me, might be yours tho!
