the take
Such amazing tracks on this album. The essence of the band is very alive on this one. Storytelling is a particular element I appreciated throughout several songs. Sting’s rich lyrics transport, particularly on Synchronicity II. In King of Pain, his masterful use of metaphors clearly show. In Wrapped Around Your Finger and Tea In The Sahara, the band’s experience in ambient and atmospheric sound make the two very solid as the finale of the album.
