the take
First album since going independent and it’s his most politically centered album which is something I believe he’s been wanting to make for a long while. It’s very witty, forward and grim. The rock and roll soundscape he chose for this album is also interesting. I think Vince really did his home work and went back to revolutionary British rock groups and took those tropes and used them tastefully. Great album, I’m going to buy this on vinyl soon.
