Hundredth was my first dip into modern shoegaze, and at that, shoegaze in general. Vertigo pays off well. The signature haze of distorted instruments, a softer, but still impactful, drumming, and beautiful echoing singing. This is definitely one of my top songs from the band, but I’d say this whole album fit the bill satisfyingly.
